How long do your candles burn? The 7oz glass burns approximately 50 hours. The 4oz travel tin burns approximately 20 hours. Actual burn time depends on how you use it — see Candle Care.
What kind of wax do you use? We use a kosher, premium food grade paraffin wax. It's a softer wax, which is deliberate: it holds more fragrance and releases it better than harder waxes.
Why is the surface of my candle a little soft or textured? Same reason. Our wax is soft by design. It may show slight surface variation or pick up a mark in shipping. It doesn't affect burn or scent.
What's the clear plastic cover for? It protects the wax surface in transit and keeps dust off between burns. It's not decorative and it's not meant to stay on while burning. Remove it before you light the candle.
Are your candles strongly scented? Yes. We use a heavier fragrance load than most candles this size, because a candle that doesn't fill a room isn't doing its job.
What's in your fragrances? Phthalate-free, paraben-free, cruelty-free fragrance oils. If you have a specific sensitivity, email us and we'll tell you what's in a particular scent.

Can I change or cancel my order? Email us right away at contact@thedeclaredgoods.com. If it hasn't shipped, we'll take care of it.
Do you offer gift wrapping? Every candle comes in its own box, ready to give. If you have any special requests, feel free to reach out directly at contact@thedeclaredgoods.com

Custom
What's the minimum order? 48 units. Below that we can still help, but a setup fee may apply.
Can you match my brand color exactly? Yes, and there's no minimum per color.
Can you put my logo on it? Yes. Custom labels on both the 7oz glass and the 4oz tin. Send us your artwork and we'll send back a digital proof before anything prints.
How long does a custom order take? Typically 2-3 weeks from proof approval. Rush timelines are sometimes possible.
Can I get a custom scent? Yes, as a separate development project with its own timeline and minimum. Email us to talk it through. For faster turnarounds, we can name an existing scent as your signature instead.
How much does it cost? Request our trade price sheet — it's sent to your inbox immediately.
Fundraising
How does it work? Your organization gets a dedicated link or campaign page. Supporters buy directly from us, we ship to them, and your organization earns a percentage of every sale. No inventory, no upfront cost, no handling, no leftover product.
What does it cost us? Nothing.
How much do we earn? [X]% of every sale attributed to your organization. Details are in the partner agreement.
Can we have our own label on the candle? Yes, for campaigns above [150] units. Custom-label campaigns run as a fixed order window — supporters order during the window, we produce after it closes, and everything ships at once.
Who can participate? Registered 501(c)(3) organizations. Apply here.
Is my purchase tax-deductible? No. You're buying a product, not making a donation. A portion of the purchase price supports the organization, but it isn't a charitable contribution and no tax receipt is issued.
